First Day Of School was on August 10th, Taylor's Birthday. The kids was ready to go back to school. Taylor is in 5th grade this year, Ms.Evans is her homeroom teacher. It breaks my heart to know this is her last year in Elementary school. This year is a little different for Kassie and Hayden. They are repeating 1st grade(and they hate it and let me know all the time they wanted to go to 2nd with there friends). I wanted to try something different this year and have them put in the same room and so far it seems to be working out great:) Mrs.Cates is such a wonderful teacher, Kassie and Hayden just love her.

Taylor's 10th Birthday!

Once again this year we celebrated Taylor's Birthday at the Rockwood Pool. We always have such a good time and what kid doesn't like to swim. I can't believe that my little girl is 10, they grow up way to fast. To my sweet little girl who means the world to me, Happy Birthday and I love you!

Cades Cove

We went to Cade's Cove back in August with my sister and her family and my Dad. We all had a really good time, especially the kids. I drove Aubrey's truck so when we got their everyone just piled in the back. It's be a long time since I have been there and I had forgot how long it took to drive through. After driving for several hours we went to the picnic area and cooked out. I enjoy spending time with my family and can't wait to do it again.

Fourth of July

We had so much fun the weekend of the fourth. We had a cookout at Robbie and Kim's with lots of family and friends. Everyone seemed to have had a good time, we played volleyball, ping pong, horse shoes and flag football. The kids had a blast, this year we rented a 15' water slide, even the adults had fun on it. This year we decided to stay the night at Robbie and Kim's, so we set up a tent for the kids to sleep in and the adults was sleeping inside. After we watched the fireworks it started poring down rain, so needless to say everyone stayed inside. On Sunday we got up and cleaned, cleaned, cleaned and then took down the water slide about the time it started raining again. It was definitely a fun weekend and we can't wait till next year. Thanks Robbie and Kim for having us, we always have so much fun:)

Aubrey's brother Donnie moved to Arizona about 2 years ago and in May he got to come in and stay a week with us. His wife and kids did not get to come in with him, but next time we sure hope they do. We all really miss them alot, and a week is just not long enough when you haven't seen them in 2 years. Maybe next year we will go visit them...

The day he was leaving I realized I had not got a picture of him with the kids. So after I got them ready for school that morning they went and woke him up so I could get a picture. I think he may still have been half asleep.

I thought this picture was just to cute. The dogs actually went and sat down to be in the picture. Rocky got attached to Donnie while he was in. One morning I got up and found Rocky asleep on Donnie's head and Donnie never woke up.

Taylor's Dance Recital

Taylor took Hip-Hop and Musical Theater this year. She really enjoyed both classes and loved her teacher. Taylor is a very out going little girl, she loves to do just about anything from dance to tumbling or just playing sports. Kassie on the other hand does not. She has took dance, played softball and basketball and took tumbling, she does not enjoy any of it. I have to say she is my little Princess, make-up, clothes, purses, shoes and her baby dolls is all she needs. She started out the year taking Hip-Hop, but a month into she was done. I feel like if I never make them try different things, they will never know if they enjoy it.

My little babies turned 7 on April 19. There party was at the complex, I ended up having to change plans for there birthday when I was told that Hayden was playing a make up game that day. It worked out really well, after his game we all just headed to the pavilion. I have to thank my best friend Candy for setting everything up so I could watch his game. We went through 8 large pizzas, 4 bags of chips, 48 cupcakes, 48 cokes and 30 capri suns. We are so thankful to have such great family and friends. Thank you all for celebrating there Birthday with us.

Opening Ceremonies was on April 4, for the first time in about 4 years it did not rain. This is Taylor's 6th year playing. She moved up to kid pitch this year, which was alot different for her. The third game of the season she broke her hand, she was running from 1st to 2nd and another player stepped into the base line and they collided. She only had to wear her cast for 3 weeks, so she did get to play the last 3 games. Hayden is on his 3rd year playing. He should have moved up to 7-8 year old league, but he is very small for his age and I did not think he was ready. All though he did very well playing with the 5-6 year olds. Someday he will hit his growth spurt.

On Saturday we went to Robbie and Kim's and had a cookout and egg hunt for the kids. It was alot of fun, if only we would have had better weather. On Sunday we went to my sister's to eat and do another egg hunt. This year was alot of fun for the twins because all they cared about was finding the prize egg. Taylor on the other did not want to hunt for eggs this year, she decided she would hide them. I was a little upset, my little girl is growing up.

Candy and I took the kids to The Wilderness Resort the weekend of Spring Break. We had alot of fun. All of the kids actually rode all of the water slides. I was really surprised at Kassie, by the next day she was riding by herself. By looking at their website you would have thought it was alot bigger, but we still had a great time. I am glad that we only stayed one night, after spending 9 hours at the park the first day and about 4 the next I was ready to go home.

Kassie pulled another tooth Saturday. She came and told me she had a loose tooth and I told her it was not ready. A few minutes later she came back down stairs and said "here is my tooth, I told you it was ready". I have never seen a kid who wants to pull there teeth, but she does and does it her self.

Okay, I know that I have been posting alot about the Toothfairy....But I am telling you she might as well move in with me till my kids loose all there baby teeth. Kassie lost another tooth March 12, the tooth was not even ready to pull but she wiggled that tooth till it came out. She also has 2 more loose teeth. I am just wondering who will loose another tooth first, all 3 of my kids have loose teeth right now.

The kids Papaw and Nana came down the other night and gave the kids some gifts. Taylor got a guitar, she told her Papaw she wanted to learn to play just like him. She also got money, what girl doesn't want MONEY! Kassie got a barbie doll house with lots of furniture and barbies. Hayden got his xbox 360. Thank you Papaw and Nana for everything, we love you!

On Sunday Hayden lost another tooth. His tooth has needed to come out for a couple of weeks now, the other tooth had actually already come in behind that one. Hayden had come and told us it was hurting and Aubrey said here let me look and pulled it, Hayden was still whining around saying it hurt and did not realize his Daddy had pulled it.

My twin sister Carrie and I celebrated our Big 30 on February 23. Our husbands had planned a surprise party for us at Cancuns. I am so glad I got to share it with my sister, family and friends, you all are the best. We all hung out at Cancuns for awhile then a few of us headed back to my house for a little Guitar Hero. Turning 30 wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I can remember when I was little thinking that 30 was old.HA

This year the 5th grade teachers decided to do a Sock Hop instead of formal. Taylor was a little disappointed because we got her dress back in October and she really wanted to wear it. I thought everything turned out really nice, well what I seen of it, the parents could not go past the office. Taylor wasn't sure what to expect, she said next year she was going with a date HA. Jared Campbell had asked her to go and she told him yes, but then said no that she was going with her friends. When they got to the dance all of her friends had dates except her and Michaela. I think next year will be different since she has a idea of what a DANCE is.

This year we didn't really celebrate Valentine's Day. For some reason that is just not a holiday that we really get into. The kids don't really need anything, but I didn't want them to feel left out so we got them some Valentine candy. The kids did have a party at school and got lot's of good things. As for Aubrey and I we decided not to do anything, we stayed at home all day and did NOTHING. I love my husband and kids more than anything and show them that each and everyday.

Hayden lost his second tooth on Feb 10. Having twins the Tooth Fairy visits our house alot here lately. Hayden is such a little character, that night when I told him to go brush his teeth and get ready for bed he replied. I need my tooth so I can brush it before I put it under my pillow and I asked him why and he said, so the Tooth Fairy will leave me more than 5 or 6 dollars. I asked him how much he thought she would leave for just 1 tooth and he said I want 300.00 dollars so I can buy a xbox 360 HA.

On February 6 Hayden hit the corner of the computer desk and busted his head open. Todd, Jessica and the kids came over to play Guitar Hero. In the middle of a song Jeremiah came running up to Jessica and said, help him, help him. So Jessica jumps up and said OMG his eye. I go into a panic, I run over and grab him up because I am thinking he hit his eye. Blood is every where and Aubrey is yelling at me to put him down so we can get it to stop bleeding. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was, but seeing all of that blood just caused me to go into a panic. When my kids get hurt I don't react very well, they handle it better than I do. When the doctor came in and said they would have to stitch the cut (it was to deep for them to use glue) Hayden asked what that was. The nurse said, haven't you ever seen your mommy sew before? Hayden said, no but I have seen my daddy sew HA. Jessica and I was laughing so hard I was about to cry. Kids say some of the craziest things.

Kassie and Hayden had to say goodbye to a friend this week. His name is Octavius Harris. He moved here a few months ago and has been staying with his grandparents. This past Sunday he moved back to Georgia. Kassie has become really good friends with him, they just so happen to have been in the same room at school. It was so funny because she came home one day from school telling me she had a boyfriend, so asked what his name was, Octavius. I thought to myself that name sounds familiar? It is my cousin Jason's son HA! I was like Kassie he is your cousin so he can't be your "boyfriend". I think we may have our hands full with our little girl. Already boy crazy!!! When I told Kassie that he was moving I thought she was going to cry, it just broke my heart. Kassie invited him over last week to play for a few hours. Here are a few pics.

Well we have a little bit of snow anyway, enough for the kids to throw snowballs at each other. They are calling for more tonight and tomorrow.YEAH! ROCKY is 6 months old

Rocky was 6 months old on January 1. I had to take him to the vet the other day and he weighed 41 lbs WOW!!! The vet said he should weigh about 55 lbs, but I am not sure about that considering how fast he is growing. He is a very loving dog. You could say he is definitely spoiled. Aubrey and I made the mistake when we brought him home and let him sleep with us. Well guess what? He still sleeps with us and he loves to sleep right up against you and lay his head on your head. Some nights I am not sure who snores worse Aubrey or Rocky. The kids just love him. Rocky has got to were he loves to play, he will go get a toy and bring to you and stand in front of you till you play with him. Well that only lasts about 5 minutes and he is done. I have to say he is a pretty LAZY dog.

Landon turned 4 on Dec 31. We celebrated his birthday and New Years together. Everyone had a blast. We started the night with Landon's birthday party and then started celebrating the New Year. Aubrey and I are so addicted to Guitar Hero. We all took turns playing the drums, guitar, and being the lead singer. It was so much fun! I am so glad that I got to bring in the New Year with all of my family here.

Aubrey and I got to host the Jones Family Christmas this year. We had such a great time. Some of his family we only see a couple of times a year, so it was nice to see everyone. Of course we ate way to much, but the food was great. The thing I love is Dirty Santa. I ended up getting the Tennessee Vols blanket that I wanted and Aubrey got a radio controlled airplane. Hayden of course thought that Aubrey was getting that for him and when someone took it from Aubrey, Hayden got very upset. Then Aubrey ended up getting another one.

We headed to my Mom and Dad's after we opened presents at home. This year we decided that we would do finger foods instead turkey and ham. The kids are way to excited to eat and alot goes to waste. There was still alot of food left, even after everyone went back for seconds. All the kids get so SPOILED at Mamaw and Papaw's. That's what grandparents are for.

My Dad is so funny. I have to say he is addicted to the Lottery. This year he made a box with a slot on the side for tickets. He didn't do to bad, he ended up with about 30 tickets. He pretty much spent the rest of the day scratching off tickets here and there, he doesn't like for anyone to watch him. He really just doesn't want my Mom to see if he wins. Ha!

Christmas morning we got up at 7:30, Aubrey was up before me and the kids. This year I have to say we splurged a bit. The kids got all they ask for and more. Aubrey and I usually don't buy for each other, but this year we thought we might as well. Aubrey got PS3 games, bluetooth headphones, Titans jersey and some other things. But I have to say his favorite is his new house shoes.HA. I got a new digital camera.YEAH!! Aubrey was so sweet to give it to me early so I would have it for the holidays. I also got a iPod, which I also wanted really bad. I am so thankful for everything and to have such a wonderful family.

My pictures for some reason are not in the order I wanted them in. Here we are getting all ready for Santa. We started out by making our Christmas Cookies. The kids love to decorate the cookies they want to leave Santa. Kassie decided to write Santa another letter and Hayden wanted to leave him a dollar. I guess he was tipping Santa. So that night before bed we sat his plate of cookies and cup of milk by the tree. I had found the cutest plate and cup at Kohl's that said (cookies for SANTA).

Usually Rocky sleeps with us, but for some reason that night he didn't want to go to bed. A few minutes later I could here something in the living room. Well I new then why he didn't want to go to bed. He ate SANTA'S cookies. Thank goodness we made extra.

Christmas Eve Night

Each year we always go to my Aunt Teresa and Uncle Jr's house Christmas Eve night. We have done this since I was a little girl. The kids look forward to it every year. We always have so much fun, just getting to see everyone and talk and eat. The food is always so good. After the kids open their gifts the men play their yearly Poker game. Thanks for being such great host. We look forward to your party every year.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we got to spend some time with Aubrey's mom. We usually have a family get together with his mom's brothers, but for some reason we didn't this year. Ruthann and the kids she has got custody of came over and we exchanged gifts. I got to play Santa and had out the gifts, I love watching them open their gifts and just seeing how excited they get.

Kassie and Hayden have passed of OT. Don't get me wrong it's great that they don't have to go to OT anymore, but we will miss Mrs.Karyn dearly. She is like a second Mom to them. We know that they would not be were they are today if it wasn't for her. Kassie and Hayden was born at 25 weeks, they spent 3 months in ETCH. They had some problems when they came home, so that's when Karyn came into the picture. She has been with them since they was 3 months old. We are so lucky that Kassie and Hayden don't really have any problems. Most babies that are born that early do. We have been through alot with them since they was born and now that they will not be getting OT anymore its like closing a chapter in our life's. I can't really explain it, I guess it is just realizing that my BABIES are growing up and doing very well. The only problem is that they are a little delayed in school, which is expected since they was born at 25 weeks. The doctor told us that they would be about 2 years behind and would eventually catch up. I just want to thank Karyn for all her hard work. She has always treated my kids like they was her own. I truly think it takes someone very special to work with kids that have problems. I could go on and on about everything that they have been through. Karyn will always have a special place in my heart and I thank God that my kids got to spend these past 6 years with her. Kassie and Hayden have learned so much from her.

Taylor's Social Studies Project

Taylor had to do a time line in Social Studies for extra credit. We like to be a little more creative than we have to be. You could use pictures if you wanted to, so of course we did. If you don't know already I LOVE PICTURES! As I was going through my pics, it was kinda sad. You just don't realize how fast your kids grow up till you look back on pictures or videos. It seems like yesterday that she was born, or should I say I remember it as if it was yesterday.

Rockwood Christmas Parade

The kids had a blast at the parade. It was extremely cold, by the end I could no longer feel my toes. The kids got so much candy, you would have thought it was Halloween. This really gets the kids excited about Christmas. When they get up every morning they will ask, How many days till CHRISTMAS?? I am so excited about this year, I love watching them open their gifts and just seeing their faces just melts my heart.

Hayden lost his first TOOTH.

Hayden lost his first tooth Saturday, December 6. It has been loose for a couple of weeks. That night he told me his tooth was hurting, so when I looked at it, it was laying down flat. Aubrey told him to twist it and he turned it completely around. So at that point he was starting to get scared, Aubrey looked at it and just pulled it. Hayden didn't even know it was out till he looked in the mirror. I think it is so odd that boys loose their teeth later than girls. Kassie lost her first tooth about a year ago.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful day spending time with our family. We headed to my Mom and Dad's to eat, then of course the kids played all day. Papaw took them for rides on the 4-wheeler. Then they all took turns riding alone on Tyler and Landon's 4-wheeler, I needed some kind of nerve pill to calm me down. I get so nervous when they are riding them. Jamie and Tyler played Aubrey and Taylor in a game of basketball, then Taylor and I played them. I am definitely out of shape, I was so sore the next day. Later that night when we got home I finally got to sit down and look at the sales papers. I made my list of every where I needed to go. Jessica, Michelle and I decided to leave at 3:00. Aubrey says I am CRAZY! Jessica had to leave us a little early for another dinner, but Michelle and I did not get home till 8:30. I always have so much fun shopping and I got most of it done that day. I am so thankful to have such a great family. I don't know what I would do without my husband, he is such a good father, husband, and friend. I am so thankful to be a Mom, my kids are everything to me.

We finally put up the tree today. We turned on some Christmas music and got busy. The kids love to help. I would have put the tree up the day after Halloween, but Aubrey wasn't having that. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I actually already have gifts to put under the tree, but I'm not sure how Rocky is going to do, he will want to eat them I am sure.

Today after church I took the kids to the Industrial Park so I could get some pictures. Every year I always try to do something different. I wanted to do something with them on the railroad tracks. We took the kids to the Tennessee game. It was Kassie and Hayden's first time. Hayden had a blast and can't wait to go back. Kassie don't really care if she ever goes back (or at least till she gets older). Taylor took her friend Tori, of course they also had a blast. I was so glad we had good weather, at times we actually got hot. Our seats were great! Even though the Vols are having a bad year, we all had a great time. We will always support our VOLS.

We had so much fun this year. We started out down town. I have say that the kids loved going to the business to trick or treat. Then we headed to the church to trunk or treat. We went to our family's house also. Then we met up with some friends and went through Webster subdivision. By the end of the night the kids were exhausted.

This year we let the kids pretty much carve their own pumpkin. They loved it! We have always carved pumpkins every year. This year was a little late. We came home from school on Thursday Oct 30, and seen that our pumpkins was still sitting on the steps, not carved. I had forgot all about them. We have been so busy, between basketball and dance. Taylor's friend Tori came and carved her pumpkin with us this year. She is our new neighbor and Taylor loves that she has someone to play with.

Taylor and Kassie take Hip Hop at Arts in Motion in Rockwood. Each year they pick a few classes to perform in the Annual Fall Festival in Rockwood. My girls love to dance! It is a large class, I want to think they are 30 kids in that class. Ashley Austin does a great job with those kids. I can't imagine teaching that many kids a dance. The morning of the performance Kassie said she did not want to dance and I ask why and she said " I am not dancing in front of all those people". Needless to say if you could have seen her dance she was extremely shy. But I am so proud of them both it takes alot of courage to dance in front of a large crowd. And this also is Kassie first year taking dance, we tried when she was three and she did not want anything to do with it. This is Taylor's fifth year dancing, we took two years off and this year she decided to start back.

Rocky went to the vet last week and weighed almost 20lbs. He is getting so big very fast. It's hard to believe how attached you actually get to your pets. I am not much on animals but I am so glad we got him. Its so funny how you treat them like they are a kid.

Kassie has lost two teeth in the past week. She is such a brave little girl and pulls them herself. Of course what she looks forward to the most is the Tooth Fairy. First of all I would like to say Happy Birthday to my Dad. Linda took my Dad to Ashville, NC for a few days for his birthday. They went White Water Rafting, Cherokee to gamble and last to the Sugarland concert. Linda ended up having a extra ticket, so my sister called me and asked if I wanted to come up there. I wasn't really sure about driving for two hours by myself. I ended up leaving early Saturday morning and got there long enough to hang out at the cabin for awhile then go to town and eat before the concert. I am so GLAD I went. I had the best time and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life. When we went to pick up the tickets, we was on the second row right in the middle of the stage. I was so excited, I have been to several concerts and never been this close. I have to say it was the best concert I have been to. Ashton Shephard opened for Sugarland and she was very good as well. Thank you Linda for inviting me and to your son Buster for the great tickets....

Rocky is getting so BIG. He weighs about 7 lbs now. Rudy is coming around and playing with Rocky a little more. He is a feisty little thing. Of course he sleeps with us and will wake up in the middle of the night wanting to play. You can't help but to love him. He is sooooo sweet.

This was the first year we have went to Boomsday. We had alot of fun, but it was sooooo hot. And of course there was no shade. We didn't really know what to expect and we got up there around four, the fireworks was not until nine thirty. It was definitely to hot to spend four and a half hours out in the heat. So we got something to eat and let the kids so some stuff, then we decided to head to Hooters to eat. By the way that is Hayden's favorite place to eat. Then we went back and decided that we would park in a parking lot just off of Kingston Pike to watch the fireworks. I have to say we had pretty good seats and no traffic to fight when it was over. The fireworks was absolutely beautiful, I have never seen anything like it before. Of course we ended the night with a trip to Krispy Kreme.

Taylor was in a Hula Hoop contest. She did not win, but she did a very good job....

We had so much fun at Dollywood. We went with Karyn and her brother Kenneth and his son Kaleb. Of course Taylor had to have her best friend Michaela go with her to ride rides. Kassie and Hayden got to ride all but five rides. Those dare devils wasn't even scared, they really surprised me. We spent the extra money to get a Q-bot(I think that's what its called) and it is well worth every penny. Never had to wait in line. I rode the Dizzy Disk and it just about made me sick. I guess the older I get my stomach just can't handle those kind of rides. We made sure we rode every water ride in the park, twice and it was great. We never got hot. Thanks Karyn for letting us tag along with you guys.....

~Taylor's 9th Birthday Party~

Every year we always have Taylor's party at the Rockwood Community Center. Taylor loves to swim so it works out perfect. We all had a great time. This is the first year that I have ever made her cake, or I guess you could say cupcakes. But Jessica had give me a recipe for homemade butter cream icing had it is very good. So I decided I was going to make them this year and I thought that they turned pretty cute. I had made a cupcake tier for her cake then bought cupcake holders from the bakery for the rest. I made eighty cupcakes that day. Back to the party, it wouldn't have been one if Jeremy Hicks didn't push someone in. Jessica and I was the lucky girls this year that got it. After singing to Taylor, the kids decided to get into a food fight. There was pizza, chips, and cupcakes everywhere and on everyone. I guess you could say it turned to be a pretty exciting party.

The night before Taylor's birthday party, we had a sleepover. We all had a blast, including myself. Aubrey and Hayden headed to Knoxville to find something to do, cause Hayden said he was not staying there with a bunch of GIRLS... I turned the den downstairs into a dance floor. The den does not have any windows so therefore it was dark. Jessica and I had hung a disco ball from the ceiling to turn the den into a dance room. We had so much fun dancing and singing karaoke. Later we watched, of course, Miley Cyrus in concert. But let me tell you that we had danced all night to the new Miley Cyrus CD that Taylor had bought at Walmart earlier that day just for the sleepover. Before the girls laid down we done a little twister. I laughed so hard at those girls. It reminded me of going to sleepovers when I was a kid. Of course that night I did act like a kid again.

The Karate Kid...

A couple of weeks ago Hayden started back taking karate. He has took this class before when he was four, after a couple of months he was over it. But know that he is older he loves it. Him and his daddy love to wrestle. While we was at the beach he watched The Karate Kid and I think that kind of made him want to try it again. But of course his favorite is baseball and basketball, but he seems to really like it. I love to watch him take class, he is so funny cause he really gets into it.

Here he is practicing on Josh. Poor Josh, cause Hayden was hitting him as hard as he could, which I know that Hayden was not going to hurt him by any means. But watching him hit on another kid was hard for me after always telling him not to hit anyone.

Here Hayden is with Master McCullough. It was so funny, Hayden would take off running and just dive at him. I was trying not to laugh, but I couldn't help not to. Aubrey lets Hayden get really rough with him, so when he got to wrestle with Master McCullough he didn't hold back. Of course the classes that he takes know are alot different than before, and he seems to pay more attention to whats going on.

This is Rocky Top Jones. Can you guess who named him? He is a English bulldog. Aubrey has wanted one for a long time but they are very expensive. I had found a man in Harriman who breeds them and was pretty reasonable. We went about two weeks ago and picked him out. We had put a deposit down so we got to be the first ones to pick. He is five weeks old and weighs 2.9 lbs. We love him so much already. Of course our other dog Rudy doesn't seem to like him so much right know.

We all gathered at Pa's house to celebrate his birthday. It's always nice to get to see everyone. I have so much fun, we definitely need to do it more often. I guess you could say that Pa is a character, he sure knows how to make you laugh. We all want to wish you a Happy Birthday and many more. We love you!

We are so excited about the new deck. I wish I would have took some pictures of the old deck and you could see why. We have lived in our house for eight years and just know getting around to it. I can't wait to have a cookout!!! Eventually we are going to put a patio under the deck and get a hot tub. We are also going to get a swing to hang under the deck and put the fire pit there. We have got so many projects going on, next is a new roof and getting the house painted. We are having some yard work done now, thanks to my brother in law Jamie who is doing the work for us.

Once again this year we all gathered at Robbie and Kim's for a cookout. We had a blast. Aubrey and Robbie smoked chicken, pork bbq, corn on the cob and of course their famous ribs. We also had hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch. It was all day long. As you will see in the pictures we played volleyball, kickball, the kids played on the slip n slide, and we also done a egg toss and spoon race. The kids had a blast. Of course my favorite is volleyball. The night ended around ten after the beautiful fireworks that the men went and got earlier that day.

So today we went to the park instead of going swimming. We started out feeding the ducks and as soon as the kids got the bread out, well the ducks attacked. We had about fifty ducks around us, needless to say my nephew Landon was a little scared. It was so funny the kids would have the bread in their hand and the ducks would come and take it. So after that we headed over to the playground, but on the way we had to make a detour. On the way I let them walk around in the water, but as you will see more than there feet got wet. We had a good time, but ended up going to Mamaw and Papaw's house to swim. It was so hot......

Taylor had so much fun the week of camp. She came home everyday singing and dancing, she wanted to make sure she had every move and every word just right. All of the kids seemed to really have a good time, including Mrs. Garrett, if you could have seen her she about danced herself right out of her chair. It is so funny cause when I was in school Mrs. Garrett was my music teacher and I always had a blast in her room. I am so thankful for all the hard work she does with these kids. Taylor looks forward to her music camp each year. That is Taylor's thing, she loves to sing and dance.

We went to Knoxville on Saturday and ate at Texas Roadhouse. Then we done a little shopping and the kids let there daddy get something for Father's Day. He is so hard to buy for, I had no idea what to get him. I am so thankful the kids have such a great Daddy, they think the world of him. We love you Daddy.

On Sunday we went to my mom and dads and had a cookout and went swimming. I love my Dad so much and I am so thankful for all he does for me.

The kids enjoyed the pool party. We had a great season, even though both of my girls broke their arm and had to miss at least half of their games. We had pizza, chips, cake and of course gave them trophies and a swimming noodle, since it was a pool party. It was Taylor's last year playing on the eight and under, she will know go to kid pitch. Kassie on the other hand said she was not playing anymore. I am so proud of all the girls, they learned alot and definitely got better over the season.

We had actually celebrated Aubrey's birthday the weekend before at Robbie and Kim's house(thanks guys for letting us all come to your house.) We had a cookout and played volleyball with all of our friends and their kids. We left for Virginia Beach the day of his birthday, so the kids give him his gift before we left. Can you tell Aubrey is a huge Tennessee Fan:)

We had so much fun at Virginia Beach. I have got alot of pictures and I am going to try and do a slide show, here is just a few. The weather was pretty nice, only one day of rain. Aubrey enjoyed it because the temperature actually never got over 80. The nights was a little chilly, but we still went and rode go-karts. One day we went for a bike ride, apparently that is the thing to do there. Most of the time was either spent at the beach or pool. Our vacation started a little rough. The first night we was their Taylor hit her face while swimming under water on the side of the pool, she looked like she had been in a fight. The next morning Hayden was getting out of the pool and slipped and hit his forehead on the pool and had a huge knot and bruise. So the next day we headed to the strawberry festival and we was walking down the street and a truck ran over my little cousin's foot, I was so glad she was okay and did not have to go to the hospital. But the end of the week ended pretty nice, Sugarland was in concert and the stage was in front of our condo right on the beach, so we just sat from our balcony and watched. Just to share with you, I can not believe how much gas cost us, it was around three hundred. Its crazy and only going to get higher. The kids had great time and that's all that mattered.

So Kassie finally got her cast off the day before we left for the beach. I am so glad she only had to wear it for two weeks. The doctor said that her arm looked great, but the knot is still on her arm it will be there for about three months. The bone healed great.

We finally got to go on the zoo trip, it had to be rescheduled due to the weather. The kids had a blast, we have not been to the zoo since Taylor's kindergarten trip. Taylor and Hayden had alot of fun riding the camel, Kassie was not having any part of that but she did feed them:) They also got to ride a carousel, but there favorite part was playing in the water.

Kara's birthday party was at home this year, Carrie rented a water slide for the party. I have to say the kids had a blast, even though it was cold out. The party started for the girls on Saturday, Taylor and Kassie spent the day at Aunt Carrie's house and had a sleepover later that night. Hayden and I headed over on Sunday for the party. If it had been warmer I definitely would have been on that slide. I hope Kara had a good birthday.

I had a good mothers day. The kids give me money to get some clothes for the beach, which I needed really bad. We all just hung out inside since it was cold and windy out. Instead of grilling out we decided to order in Pizza Hut, one of my kids favorite meals. My kids are a blessing, I could not even imagine life without them. Our dog Rudy just had to be in the picture, he always wants to be the center of attention.

Later that evening we went to my mom's to spend some time with her and give her gift to her. Even though it was cold, Papaw still took the kids for a ride on his four wheeler. I love you Mom, thanks for all you do. We didn't get to go see Aubrey's mom since she was in the hospital, but we all wish her a Happy Mother's Day and hope she is feeling well.

So here we are at KOC again. Let me go back about two weeks ago, Kassie was jumping on the trampoline with her brother Hayden and he fell on her arm. Of course she was crying, but I got her calmed down so I could look at her arm. There was no swelling, no bruising and she could move it and said it didn't hurt. So a few days went by and she may have complained some, but she still played softball, never said it hurt, played at home, at school, and of course played on the trampoline. Last Thursday I noticed that a knot had came up, still never complained, so I called and got her in the next morning at KPA, her doctor. The doctor did x-rays and sure enough it was broke, from there we headed to KOC to get a cast on. The doctor there said the bone had actually already started healing. We was in the doctor for two and a half hours. So after we finally left the doctor, Kassie and I treated ourselves to Wasabi's for lunch. She goes back to get the cast off the day before we go on vacation. I felt so bad that she had went that long with a broke arm and we didn't even know it. Kids are tougher than we think they are. So for the past two months both of my daughter's have been in a cast. How crazy is that, I am going to lock Hayden in his bedroom and hope he doesn't get hurt. Ha!

I was so glad she got a short arm cast. Bath time is much easier...

Kassie and I got bored while we was waiting so we took pictures. But she said the funniest thing to me, "mommy I told you my brain said I needed a cast."

We are so blessed to have three beautiful healthy kids. Even though life gets a little crazy sometimes, I would not change a thing. Everyday is a challenge and I am always learning something new about them. My kids are a dream come true.

Well I finally got some pictures of the girls playing tonight. I am one of the dugout moms, so it's hard for me to take pictures. This is Kassie's first year playing and she does not care much about it. I don't know that she will play next year. She does pretty good for it to be her first year playing, but she would rather be playing on the play ground. Just like today, the game was about to start and Kassie was nowhere to be found. Guess where she was? "Playground". Aubrey and I kind of pushed her to play because we wanted her to at least try it.

Here is Taylor playing first base. Before she broke her arm she played pitcher. She actually did better at first base. Taylor was so glad to be back. This is only her second game for the year. She has been playing since she was four. This is definitely her favorite sport.

Taylor finally got her cast off today. For the past two weeks we have been counting the days down. She can not get back to playing softball until next week. I don't know who wanted the cast off more me or her? Bath time has been horriable. Anyway it only took them about five minutes to take it off. Of course she did bring the cast back home to show her daddy. So here is a few pictures of him sawing the cast off...

This is not a good picture, but I was trying to get Taylor's face. She was laughing cause of the saw vibrating which was tickling her arm.

Here you can see the saw. The blade vibrated back and forth. He cut a straight line on both sides then just pulled it apart. I thought it was pretty neat, I have never seen anything like this before.
